If you're not a fan of the Super Smashbros series, this journal is not for you.
To all you idiot fans out here, stop asking for anime characters. Super Smash Bros is a crossover fighting game for Nintendo video game characters. You can't be a comic or a cartoon first, you have to start off as a game. Main reason why I haven't even bothered to start making my comic is because I need to make a game for my characters to qualify for smashbros. Who doesn't want a character in smashbros?
Comic book characters like Goku, Naruto, or Luffy will NEVER be in this game. No Powerpuff Girls, no Finn and Jake, no fucking MLP, no Sora from Kingdom Hearts (overrated series) no nothing.
There are instances, in which a third party VIDEO GAME character has made it to Smashbros, a la Sonic the Hedgehog, Megaman, and Solid Snake. Massahiro Sakurai has stated himself, that not just any old third party character can make it in. So unless you're requested character is known by more than you and seven others, he/she has no chance at making it in.
And the entitlement has gotten worse. I have made a journal about this before, and since then, fans have gotten worse with this.
It's always "wow THIS character got in? why not (insert obscure character here)?" YOU, as a fan, are not the only one who will play this game. This unique, extremely well received series, has legions of fans around the world. Whatever character you HATE might be someone's favorite, and for you to bitch and moan because your favorite character or stage or music is not in the game is ridiculous.
You have a right to your own opinion and I respect free thinkers, but constantly complaining that you didn't get what you want in a game that caters to it's hardcore audience and fans is ironic. At the end of the day, Nintendo makes the games and they can do whatever they want with it. In fact, Megaman has had to be one of the most requested characters if not the most and we got him. Be happy for what you get. It isn't as if Nintendo is the WWE and ignores it's fans and gives it shit no one wants to see and tells you, the customer what you want. They hear you, they respect you, and they know you're the reason they exist. Show them some respect.
